The environmental impact of cars
Cars, trucks, and other vehicles operated by fossil fuel are significant contributors to air pollution. It arises through the evaporative emissions from the fueling system of volatile organic compounds such as hydrocarbons and from other chemical components that leave the engine through the crankcase. Experts prove that transportation emits 75℅ nitrogen oxides in our air and is a significant source of global warming. The pollutants released through vehicle's exhaust have on nearly every organ system in the human body and other species. Greenhouse gases trap heat in the atmosphere, which directly raises the temperature all over the world. The burning excess number of fuels has increased 1 degree F in the global climate, and the worst part is that the temperature will continue to rise over the coming decades. Global warming directly affects sea level, farming, wildlife, natural landscape, and health. Bad air quality raises a significant risk for human health and the environment. ...
